New Role for Zac? « Zac-E.Com

Orlando Bloom and Zac Efron are battling it out for the lead role in the new Disney action film.

The heartthrobs are both eager to play the Persian prince in the adaptation of the video game Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.

Pirates Of The Caribbean star Orlando, 31, and High School Musical actor Zac, 20, are both hoping to impress director Jerry Bruckheimer.

The movie begins filming later this year for release in 2009.

Every actor depends on that lucky break to become a star. Hey...why be ugly when you are born beautiful. Plus, I've seen a lot of good looking actors who have not made it...because they lacked the talent to go with the good looks...Stop hating because the boy has got it all --- looks, talent, and a beautiful personality that draws fans.

I think I'll go with the professionals on Zac's acting abilities. Those would be the directors who have worked with him. If he can satisfy the directors and millions of fans world-wide, he must be doing something right. The boy has talent no matter what anyone says. He has acted in roles of substance and his latest projects will only reinforce what is already known. That he is talented and will one day be a force to reckon with in this business.

Yeah, because Hairspray was such a challenging role for him after he had just finished doing a musical? As for HSM2, he was bad in that, but the fact is I have yet to see him in anything of substance where his acting can be really tested, and the things I have seen him in whcih he should be able to pull off because it's not really challenging work he's picked for himself to do he actually comes accross as a weak actor.

hate to burst your bubbles but..... i LOVE zac, BUT i dont think hes right for the part. he doesnt even LOOK persian (orly looks a tad more persian). i have to say i think orly's gonna get the part... :( just saying.

Weak is not the word that describes Zac Efron's acting talent. He is able to show true emotions in his roles and is very expressive overall. He has proven himself, not only in HSM 2, but in Miracle Run and Hairspray, also. Zac would be a better choice for this role because he is young, talented, and has earned such a role. Zac Efron all the way.

But I hope Zac gets the job,he's younger,hotter..haha. I wanna see hiiim!
